Provisional Psychologist
Jacqui is a Provisionally Registered Psychologist. After years of teaching, she decided to change occupations due to a passion for adolescent mental health. Jacqui’s approach is creating a safe, nonjudgemental space for clients to explore their inner world. Through empathy, active listening, and evidenced-based interventions, she aims to empower people to navigate their emotions, challenge those negative thoughts to develop resilience, and create meaningful change in people’s lives.
Jacqui has a passion for supporting people around improving communication skills, navigating interpersonal conflict, navigating workplace issues, and assisting people in increasing their self-efficacy towards being in control of their lives.
Interventions Jacqui uses are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT).
Beyond work, Jacqui likes to cook new recipes, read a book by the ocean, or spend time with loved ones.
